A therapist-client relationship is established only after:

• An initial consultation has taken place;

• Both you and your therapist agree to begin treatment; and

• All required intake, informed consent, and practice policies have been completed and signed.
   

Once you become a client, your Protected Health Information (PHI) will be maintained in accordance with HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided during the intake process.
